Company Continues Its Nationwide Expansion Through Alliance with Major
Wireless Carriers
DALLAS, April 16 - Preferred Voice, Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: PFVI) announced today that it has successfully deployed its
voice activated dialing service in selected markets located in the states of
Pennsylvania, Ohio and New York. The Company is offering its speech recognition
services through its strategic alliance with Dobson Cellular Systems (Nasdaq:
DCEL - news) in those markets. Preferred develops and markets voice recognition
technology that enables wireless and wire line carriers to offer several voice
enhanced services to their subscribers using current equipment and existing

feature that offers a safer alternative to touch tone dialing to place phone
calls, especially while driving.

with 30 telecom carriers, including wireless carriers, CLECs and ILECs, which
carriers operate in 34 states and serve more than 4.5 million subscriber lines.
The Company is now in the process of a nationwide expansion for its service
offerings with initial deployment having taken place in the U.S. Midwest and
Northeastern markets. The Company now has successfully deployed its
voice-enhanced services with eight different telcos, in eight different states
with carriers with aggregate subscriber lines of 710,000 and of that potential
market the Company currently has over 100,000 subscribers to its services.
"With the successful completion of the first Dobson regional deployment,
Preferred is on its way to attaining a nationwide presence and a dominant
position in the voice recognition industry," stated Rick Stone, Senior VP Sales
and Marketing for Preferred Voice. Mr. Stone continued by stating, "By creating
marketing alliances with significant players like Dobson, we believe we will
continue to grow at an impressive rate."
