Preferred Voice Signs Four New Carriers

37 Wireless and Wireline Providers Now Under Contract

DALLAS, TX. July 26, 2001-- Preferred Voice, Inc. (OTC BB: PFVI), which on July 12 announced the goal of bringing 40 carriers online by the end of this year, said today it completed agreements with four additional wireless and wireline carriers, bringing the number of carriers that have signed multi-year, revenue-sharing contracts to 37. The company said the four new carriers, Advantage Cellular, Cell XL Associates, DeKalb Telephone, and Illinois Valley Cellular, are expected to contribute significantly toward the company's goal of 500,000 billable subscribers online before Dec. 31, 2001.

According to Bill Schereck, Preferred Voice President and Chief Operating Officer, "With the addition of these four new agreements, I am very confident that Preferred Voice is going to meet its deployment goals for calendar 2001. "

Participating carriers agree to share revenues with Preferred Voice and to use Preferred Voice as their exclusive provider of speech-driven enhanced services including Voice Activated Dialing, Voice Mail Navigation, Voice Directory Assistance, Voice Calling Cards, and Emma, the Perfect Receptionist. As recently announced, Preferred Voice will be delivering these services over the Internet through its VoIP network supported and hosted by AT&T.

Initially these carriers will be offering their subscribers Preferred Voice's voice dialing service called "Safety Talk. Safety Talk encourages its users to keep both hands on the wheel while they are driving. Preferred Voice's voice recognition services do not require the subscriber to buy or install any extra equipment and simply overlays on their existing calling plans.
