Cellular XL Associates, L.P. Deploys Preferred Voice Technology in Mississippi
Wireless Carrier Offers Voice Dialing To All Subscribers
DALLAS, TX
October 2 2001 - Preferred Voice, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PFVI), headquartered
here, said today that Cellular XL Associates, L.P. d/b/a/ Cellular One, a
privately-held wireless carrier based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, is now fully
deployed, and that marketing of Voice Dialing to all their subscribers
throughout their Mississippi regional service area has already begun. Through a
special arrangement with Preferred Voice, Cellular One has provisioned all of
their current subscribers with Voice Dialing as a 30-day introductory promotion.

This carrier installation and product
deployment is the 3rd of 26 carrier switch installations Preferred Voice has
scheduled for the remainder of this calendar year. The company stated that it
was "on schedule" as to their deployment plan. Additionally, the company is
planning to announce several new voice recognition services for telecom
carriers, as well as other businesses, in the next few weeks.
