Preferred Voice's Customers Achieving Exceptional Subscriber Take Rates
Voice Dialing Program ROI Results Praised At Wireless Industry Conference
DALLAS, Texas, October 11, 2001 - Validating its leadership in providing
telecom industry with revenue enhancing and valuable speech recognition
services, Preferred Voice received considerable praise from speakers at this
year's Rural Cellular Association's "Excellence In Marketing" conference held
this month in San Antonio, Texas. With over 180 at the conference representing
around 50 wireless carriers, this event is one of the year's major wireless
marketing seminars.
The forum for wireless carriers provided workshops
focusing on "Tools for Revenue Enhancement," along with other important topics,
which singled out Preferred Voice's unique marketing program for its Voice
Activated Dialing (VAD) service as "highly successful." The Preferred Voice
program was praised for its high subscriber take rates, quick time to market and
exceptional return on investment.
Dan Rule, General Manager for Golden
State Cellular, spoke at the conference regarding his company's recent
implementation of the Preferred Voice VAD marketing program. According to Mr.
Rule, "Golden State Cellular was able to achieve a 67% percent take rate across
Golden State Cellular's overall subscriber base in less than 120 days, making
the Preferred Voice program both an overwhelming success as well as profitable."
Compared to the telecom industry average for service enhancement take rates of
between 5%-30%, Golden State Cellular's 67% VAD take rate would be considered
exceptional.
In regards to Preferred Voice program's and partnership Mr.
Rule added "the Preferred Voice program provides a unique opportunity for
wireless carriers to deploy state of the art voice-driven enhancements with
little or no capital expenditure which have proven to be profitable very
quickly." Mr. Rule went on to state "strategic partnerships such as this which
both ensure success and minimize risk will characterize the future of all
wireless enhancements. "
In addition to Mr. Rule's positive comments
concerning his company's experience with Preferred Voice's VAD marketing
program, speakers from several other wireless carriers echoed his sentiments and
added that their results have been equally positive. Preferred Voice has
marketing agreements with 40 carriers across the US and has 24 product
deployments scheduled for the remainder of 2001.
