Preferred Voice Completes First Network Based SS7 VoIP Wireless Deployment
Company to Discuss Achievement at Intel's TechSummit 2001
DALLAS,
Texas, October 22, 2001 - Preferred Voice, Inc. (OTC BB: PFVI) has announced
that it has successfully completed the first VoIP network based deployment of
voice recognition services for a wireless carrier. This environment utilizes a
packet based voice network in conjunction with the Signaling System Seven (SS7)
network. This first of its kind installation was completed as part of the
company's scheduled product deployment and marketing rollout with one of its
carrier partner, Illinois Valley Cellular.
The company now believes that
it can begin to successfully utilize its private VoIP network to deploy and
deliver not only its own speech driven products, but also that of third party
service providers to any telecom carriers worldwide. This method of deployment
coupled with Preferred Voice's proprietary voice recognition technologies will
now "set the standard" for rapid time to market and cost effect service delivery
for both wireless and wireline service providers.
Preferred Voice's Vice
President of Operations, Darryl Whitfield, will be discussing this achievement
as part of his presentation to the attendees of this years TechSummit sponsored
by Intel Communications. The symposium, being held October 22-25, 2001 in Los
Angeles, is one of the industry's premier conferences focusing on data and voice
network issues.
As more and more wireless and wireline telecom carriers
look to network-based service platforms as the preferred method of delivering
new revenue enhancing applications, Preferred Voice's private VoIP network will
provide service delivery not for its own service offerings, but for third party
service providers through authorized network access. Access to Preferred Voice's
extensive carrier network along with call management and advanced API solutions
are all part of the programs and services now available through Preferred
Voice's recently announced Network Services Group.
