Preferred Voice Signs Three New Telecom Carriers

Revenue Generating Voice Dialing Service For Carriers Spurns Demand

DALLAS, Texas, November 5, 2001 - Preferred Voice, Inc. (OTC BB: PFVI) said today that its Carrier Services Group has completed marketing agreements with three additional wireless and wireline carriers, bringing the number of carriers that have signed exclusive multi-year, revenue-sharing contracts to 43. The company said the three new carriers, Highland Cellular of West Virginia, PTCI and Panhandle Telephone both of Oklahoma, are expected to begin deployment of Preferred Voice's voice recognition services by the first quarter of 2002.

According to Bill Schereck, Preferred Voice President and Chief Operating Officer, "As the major provider of speech enhanced dialing services in the U.S., Preferred Voice has a proven track record established not only in the wireless markets but wireline as well and will continue to deliver network based service applications that are quick to market and produce significant revenue for our carrier partners. As we keep to that commitment, our customer base will continue to expand, as will our revenues."

Initially these carriers will be providing their subscribers with Preferred Voice's voice activated dialing service, but additional voice recognition services, including BusinessConnect, a call completion service to local businesses, will be launched at a future date. Preferred Voice's voice recognition services are delivered over their own private SS7 VoIP network and require no changes in the subscriber's phones.
