Internet Speech Signs Agreement With Preferred Voice To Deliver Speech-Driven Email Manager To Telecom Carriers

New Service Will Allow Wireless And Wireline Users To Hear And Respond To Emails From Any Phone By Using Their Voice

DALLAS, TX. Nov. 07, 2001-- Preferred Voice, Inc. (OTC BB: PFVI) said today that San Jose, CA. based, voice technology company Internet Speech, Inc., has entered into a strategic alliance agreement for Preferred Voice to begin marketing a new email management service that enables users to send and receive personal emails by voice command from any phone in the US. The new service utilizes voice recognition technologies developed by both companies and will be delivered over Preferred Voice's private SS7 VoIP network. The service will be available to both wireless and wireline carriers, as well as certain Enterprise distributors, as early as the first Quarter of 2002.

"We have selected Internet Speech's speech driven email manager simply because it not only works, but is so incredibly easy to use," stated Bill Schereck, Preferred Voice's President and COO, "With this alliance we now feel confident that we can deliver the most user-friendly, inexpensive and marketable product to our carrier and Enterprise partners. Internet Speech's innovative netECHO service platform provides breakthrough technology by translating web-based information into text and reads the text to the caller using advanced text-to-speech technology. Now users will have the capabilities to listen to their personal emails and then send an email reply by speaking into their cell or any wireline phone. While Internet Speech is a leader in the audio/voice ISP and Voice Internet technologies Preferred Voice has a proven record in providing voice recognition services and technologies to the telecommunications industry. Preferred Voice currently distributes voice activated dialing services to both wireline and wireless carriers across the US.

Additionally, Internet Speech has signed a multi-year network services agreement with Preferred Voice's Network Services Group for carrier provisioning, call management and service delivery to carriers via Preferred Voice's private SS7 VoIP network. Preferred Voice's Network Services Group provides numerous programs for third party application providers including service delivery to telecom carriers worldwide.
