Preferred Voice, Inc. (PVI, PRFV.OB) has
provided enhanced telephony services to telecommunications carriers since 1998.
PVI has concentrated its efforts in the wireless market place with its one
primary product Voice Dial. Early in its deployment, Voice Dial seemed to be a
product of great potential and wide acceptance and the legislative agenda to
eliminate dialing and driving seemed to enhance its appeal. September 11, 2001
changed much of the country’s focus and regulated “hands free driving” fell off
government and carrier agendas replaced by national security, network upgrades
and emergency 911.
In early 2003, we began our development plan of additional product offerings
that would allow us to remarket to our carrier base and expand beyond. PVI’s
current seamless integration with a carrier provides an advantage if it can
also provide a compelling product line that the carrier is looking for. Mobile
entertainment has reaching huge acceptance in foreign markets and the US
marketplace is primed for delivery. PVI has recognized this opportunity and has
developed a user-centric, network-based bundle of services that allows for
personalization and elements of entertainment across any device or network. We
believe that our near term success depends on rapid adoption of our new product
suite, My Phone Services, and its flagship product Rockin’ Ringback, a
network-based service that allows subscribers to replace the familiar ‘ring,
ring’ that callers normally hear with a popular song, personalized message or
even an advertisement. Continued success will depend on our ability to expand
this service offering with the next new fad and increase adoption of a bundled
product approach. Our goal is to increase current Preferred Voice average rate
per user (ARPU) from $1.00 per month per subscriber to $2.50 per month per
subscriber.
